Obituary for Barbara Marie Barry

Bobbie Barry was born Barbara Hozjan on June 1, 1945 in Seattle. The third eldest of eight children, she was a natural at caring for a big family and would remain close to her family her entire life. Bobbie married Ron Barry at the age of 19 and spent the next 44 years alongside the love of her life, making their Mountlake Terrace house a home, raising a family, and growing a beautiful garden. Bobbie was a strong woman with lots of spunk and humor and an incredibly generous and giving spirit. When family, friends, neighbors, or even strangers had a need, she was the first to pitch in and help out, truly living out her Catholic faith. Bobbie passed away on April 11, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. She will forever be loved and missed, and never ever forgotten.
Bobbie was preceded to heaven by her husband Ron, her father Steve, her mother Barbara, her stepfather Jay, and her sister Kathy. Bobbie leaves behind many who love her - her brothers Steve, Dick, and Marty; her sisters Mitzi, Theresa, and Sonia; her children Annie, Ronnie, and Darrin; her grandchildren Breanna, Brittnie, Barbara, Iliana, Mikayla, and Austynn; her great grandchildren Hailey, Taylor, Aiden, Tayden, Dulce, Ryder, Brayden, Hannah, Raelynne, and Nevaeh; her beloved siblings in-law, nephews, and nieces; her many other family members and friends; and her little dog, Simba.
