passed away on June 28, 2010 at the age of 91.
A member of the pioneering Yost family of Edmonds, she was born on Feb. 3, 1919. Her parents were George and Carrie (Yost) Astell and grandparents Allen M. and Amanda C. Yost.
She graduated from Edmonds High School and married Robert Keith Schoppert, now deceased, on Dec. 19, 1944. For over half of her life she lived in Edmonds and was active in Music & Art. She enjoyed researching the genealogy of the Yost family. She attended the First Church of Christ Scientist.
