Geraldine (Gerri) Pace Kraski, 73, was the only child of Josephine Hughes Johnson and Robert Pace Johnson. Gerri passed away at home peacefully on June 26th, surrounded by her loving family. Gerri was born May 24, 1937 in Everett, WA and was raised and attended school in Port Angeles, WA. Moving to Seattle, she attended Cornish School of the Arts studying dance and the arts, studied with Ivan Novikoff, took classes at the UW and later at Edmonds Community College. She taught dance and was a member of the Northwest Dance Association. Gerri was involved in the dance world until her focus changed to design when she married John Kraski, a Seattle furniture dealer. The Kraskis built a home in Edmonds which Mrs. Kraski designed.
The Kraskis enjoyed travel, and traveled all of the US and most of the world. Entertaining, gourmet cooking, politics, opera, ballet and genealogy were all of great interest to her. Gerri was a
gardener, who grew roses that kept people walking by their home to enjoy their beautiful yard. Gerri was an avid reader who always had to know all about...
