Born December 17, 1917 in Big Sandy, Montana. Daughter of Clyde Elvis Elliott and Alice Charlotte Siebrasse Elliott. Sister of Robert Clyde Elliott. Raised in Wichita, Kansas. Graduated from Wichita High School North; attended Wichita State University where she studied Drama and English.
Married Clayton Leo Walton July 4, 1940 in Wichita and moved to Seattle two weeks later where she lived remainder of her life. Mother of Nancy Walton-House (John House), Susan Weasea (Rod), John (Taraneh), Tom, Mary Straube (Rick) and Lisa Rice. Grandmother of Lara, Nina, Clayton, Erin, Lindsay, Patrick, Ruji, Elliott and Jeffrey. Widowed in 1974. Long-term companion of Bill Lyman. Close friend of Richard E. and Claire Lyons. Died June 17, 2010 in Shoreline, Washington.
Kathryn worked as a legal secretary after she was widowed and retired from Davis, Wright, Tremaine Law firm.
