Marcia, 61, long-time Edmonds resident died Feb. 6, 2010 at her home. She was born in Seattle and graduated from Queen Anne High School. Marcia received her nursing degree from Everett Community College and worked as a nurse for over 35 years; most of her time with Group Health.
Marcia enjoyed traveling, hiking, studying genealogy and gardening. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Don; daughter, Jennifer (Brian) Kovacevich, son, Michael Hardesty; her granddaughter, Maya Kovacevich; and her sisters, Candee and Beverly.
A Celebration of Marcia’s life will be held on Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at 2 pm at Edmonds Plaza Room, 650 Main Street (above library) in Edmonds.
Memorial may be given in Marcia’s name to the American Cancer Society.
