96, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2010 in Shoreline, WA. He was born to Paul and Myrtle Crawford on August 8, 1913 in Starbuck, WA.
Blaine served in the Army Air Corps during WWII and worked in the administration of Veteran’s benefits at the Veterans Administration in Seattle until his retirement in 1973. He and Wilda trailered throughout the US; visited Europe and wintered in Arizona for over a decade where Blaine’s (call sign N7QLV) was a proud member of the Sunlife Amateur Radio Club. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wilda; and is survived by son, Blaine Crawford Jr. and granddaughter, Katherine Crawford of Edmonds, WA.
A Graveside Service will be held at Edmonds Memorial Cemetery, 820 – 15th Place SW at 10 am on Saturday, February 27, 2010.
