Edwin Unruh, 90, is now singing and rejoicing in the presence of the LORD as he entered the Kingdom of Heaven on January 25, 2010.
Ed was born in Beulah, North Dakota to Ludwig and Anna Marie Unruh in 1919. After his honorable discharge from the army in 1943, Ed and Esther Thompson were married in 1944 and moved to Southern California, where they lived for 43 years. Following his retirement in 1987 from the Federal Reserve Bank in Los Angeles, Ed and Esther moved to Mill Creek, Washington, to be close to their family and enjoy their grandchildren growing up.
Edwin is survived by his beloved wife, Esther, of 65 years; his daughter Elaine and Mike Tindall of Mill Creek, WA; his grandson Christopher and Janene Tindall and great grandson Benjamin of Everett, WA, and grandson Jonathan and Alia Tindall of Everett, WA. He will be terribly missed by all whose lives he touched.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Alderwood Community Church, 3403 Alderwood Mall Blvd, Lynnwood, WA, 425-774-7766.
