    Frank Nicholas Rocco was born May 31, 1928 in Hackensack, New Jersey, and passed away peacefully with Valerie by his side on April 30, 2017, in Mountlake Terrace, Washington. He was 88 years young.

    Frank was a good man. He loved all animals, gardening, golf, skiing, fishing, music, and especially loved having family over for his annual outdoor birthday celebration on Memorial Day weekend. He made friends everywhere he went and was loved by many.

    Frank was in the Wholesale and Retail meat business his whole life. In the 1970s, he and his longtime friend and partner, Richard Berkenroth, opened Red Tree Packing Company in Seattle. In the late 1980s they sold the company and retired.

    Frank was a member of Holy Rosary Parish for 57 years. He was a member of the Lake City Elks for over 50 years. He served in the U.S. Army at Fort Dix, New Jersey during the Korean conflict. He was a Cub Scout leader and an Indian scout leader when his children were young, and volunteered with the boy scouts.
