Born in Seattle, WA, March 23, 1933 to Neno and Ann Camandona, Gerald graduated from Roose­velt High School. After gradua­tion and serving in the Army, he joined his father's busi­ness, Washington Dispo­sal, in which he became the most loved garbage man in South Seattle. Later, Gerry and his wife Donna ran the family business, retiring in 1983. Gerry was a self-made, do it yourself man. He was a voracious reader when it came to invest­ing, which be­came his "hobby" after retirement.

Gerry's greatest loves were his family and friends. Whether he was playing cards, bocce ball, fishing, traveling the world, or simply sharing a meal, his laugh was the loudest and his warmth was the greatest. He was a strong man with a gentle soul and a golden heart. He will be dearly missed.
