Margaret was born Jan. 4, 1914 in Hoquiam, Wa. to William and Harriet (Carpenter) McClary. She passed away Thurs. July 5, 2012 in Seattle at the age of 98. Margaret grew up in Hoquiam and attended Hoquiam High School. She married Harold Johnson June 11, 1932. They later divorced. On Oct. 20, 1940 Margaret married Otto Drager in Reno, Nevada. They lived in Bremerton, where they owned and operated Drager's Harley Davidson. They moved their business to Seattle in 1950. Margaret and Otto were involved in all aspects of the motorcycle lifestyle. Margaret was the Washington State Director of Motormaids of America. She logged many miles (often alone) on her Harley attending annual conventions in Florida, Washington D.C., New Orleans, Milwaukee, etc. During the 70's Margaret and Otto retired to Anacortes where they owned Sunset Trailer Court. She enjoyed boating, bowling, and gardening. Otto died in 1975. Margaret married Ray Wittman in 1980. They travelled throughout the United States, enjoyed several cruises, and visited Australia, Japan, and Hawaii. She also visited the Scandinavian Countries with her daughter. Ray passed away in 1999. Margaret moved into Assisted Living at Edmonds Landing in 2005 where she lived until her death. She was known for her quiet intelligence, her strong independent spirit and was loved and respected by all who knew her.
