Gerald Frank Mosteller, born September 15th, 1939 in Vancouver BC, Canada to Frank Land and Dorothy (Shantz) Mosteller lost his battle with liver and colon cancer and passed away into the peaceful June 11th 2012 morning. Gerald was raised both in BC and Seattle area a 1957 graduate of Roosevelt High School “ Go Roughriders” that is where he would meet and later marry his high school sweetheart Karen Jean Flodquist (March 5th 1960). Gerald served honorably in the US Navy as an Air crewman and Aviation Structural Mechanic and then spent time in the reserves. His mechanical aptitude landed him employment with the Boeing Company. There he was an Aero Mechanic and Machinist for 44 years. He worked on Airplanes such as the 707, 747, and 767 including the very first 747, and the Space Shuttle Delivery 747. In his last few years he worked in the Tool and Dye Fabrication areas. Gerald was very proud of his work and being a part of the Boeing family. Gerry retired in 2001. Gerry and Karen moved to the Edmonds area from North City in 1968 where they raised two sons, Gordon and David. While raising the boys they all enjoyed the family travels, fishing and road trips through Washington and British Columbia, Canada. Extensive traveling the Oregon and California coasts during retirement. Survived by; his wife of 52 years, Karen, sons Gordon (Teresa), David (Margoleigh), 4 Grandchildren Anthony, Emily and Thomas Mosteller, Christopher (Tiffaney) Anderson and one Great Grandchild...
