Ronald L. Robinson was born February 24, 1937 in Reardan, WA to John and Ruby Robinson, and passed away June 11, 2012 in Edmonds, WA with his wife of 53 years by his side. Ron graduated from Edwall High School and Eastern Washington University where he received a U.S. Army commission and teaching credentials. He was on active duty during the Bay of Pigs conflict. After his military duty he began a teaching and coaching career at Sprague High School. He received advanced degrees and administrative certificates from Whitworth University, W.S.U., Seattle University and the U of Washington. He finished his education career in several administrative positions in the Edmonds School District and the Mukilteo School District.
After his retirement, Ron and Carol purchased a motor home and toured the United States, Canada and Mexico. They enjoyed cruises through the Panama Canal, Europe and Alaska. Another highlight for the family was gathering together at a different location each summer. Ron’s love of sports found him coaching and giving advice to the grandchildren both in Phoenix and Woodinville. In 2005, Ron and Carol began spending the winter months in their home in Phoenix, AZ.
