Geraldine Louise Rothaus-Brown
God's kingdom is all the brighter with the arrival of the most amazing spirit you could have ever met. Geraldine Louise Rothaus-Brown passed away peacefully in the company of her loving daughter Jeanette Partington, niece Helen "Peachie" Mussen, granddaughter Julie Bonaker and grandson Jeffrey Bonaker with his wife April Bonaker on May 30th at 12:30am.
Born in October, 1933 to parents Clarence & Helen Rothaus and raised in the Queen Ann neighborhood of Seattle, WA. She was the 6th of 7 children. She grew up in a loving household with her brothers and sisters: Rosalie, Pat, Donna, Joe, Jimmy and Jeanie Rothaus. She graduated from Queen Anne High school in 1952 and was extremely proud of her graduating class; greatly looking forward to her 60th reunion. Gerrie married her first husband Ron Thorsen and gave birth to Jeanette her daughter in 1957. In 1960 she was remarried to John Niles. Together in 1962, they moved into their new home in the Shoreline area. Gerrie loved the Shoreline area and remained for 50 years. In 1988 she married again to Darryl Brown, who owned a local Mobil service station and later BP station in Northgate followed by North End Automotive.
Gerrie was never shy to be a part of a whole host of activities. Even in her high school days she was involved in several social clubs. She immensely enjoyed participating in any and all groups or committee's she could join. In recent years she had...
