Born and raised in Bellingham Washington, and Ordained into the Catholic Priesthood on April 30, 1952. Faithful servant to many in the Archdiocese of Seattle, serving: St. Anthony’s - Renton; Blanchet High School – Seattle; Holy Rosary – Edmonds; Sacred Heart – Bellevue; Holy Rosary – West Seattle; St. Mark’s – Shoreline; Holy Rosary – West Seattle. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Ann (Valencin) Mallahan; 4 brothers, John Patrick (Pat) Mallahan, Joseph Mallahan, and Mat Mallahan; sister-in-law Gina; niece Rita; nephew Mat Mallahan and great-nephew Robert Hawley. Survived by brothers Bernard Mallahan (Rita), Stephen Mallahan (Kaye); and sisters-in-law Patricia Mallahan and Mary Ann Mallahan; 28 loving nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and wonderful and beloved friends, parishioners and fellow priests, too numerous to name.
Donations made be given to St. Vincent de Paul or Blanchet High School in Seattle.
